LEGAL SIDE OF RELATIONSHIPS WORKSHOPS

Our workshops are a core part of our representation because family law is not just about court orders — it is about informed decision-making, preparation, and long-term protection. Many legal problems arise not from bad intentions, but from lack of clarity, missing information, or reactive choices made under stress. These workshops are designed to give clients practical understanding, realistic expectations, and tools they can immediately use in their case and their lives. When clients understand the “why” behind legal strategy, financial protection, custody planning, and communication boundaries, they are better positioned to protect themselves, their children, and their future. Education reduces conflict, prevents costly mistakes, and strengthens outcomes — which is why we intentionally integrate these workshops into our representation rather than treating them as optional extras.

Kim McCall Haney, Esq. — Attorney & Mediator

Kim McCall Haney has spent nearly three decades guiding families through some of the hardest moments of their lives. A seasoned family law attorney licensed in Mississippi, Alabama, and Alaska, Kim focuses her practice on divorce, child custody, adoption, guardianships, mediation, and estate planning for families.

She is known for blending courtroom experience with a calm, practical approach that protects children, encourages stability, and helps parents make decisions they can live with long-term. Clients appreciate her steady communication, her ability to simplify intimidating legal processes, and her commitment to resolving conflict rather than fueling it.

Outside the courtroom, Kim is a trained mediator who helps couples reach agreements without unnecessary litigation, cost, or emotional strain. She believes families deserve dignity, clarity, and guidance—not chaos.

A lifelong advocate for children and parental rights, Kim has served families across multiple jurisdictions, working with courts, guardians ad litem, mental-health providers, and community resources to support the best interests of children.

When she’s not working, Kim divides her time between the Mississippi Gulf Coast and the Alaska Kenai Peninsula, enjoying time outdoors, traveling, writing, and being with family—especially her grandchildren.
